Applications of Aluminium Extrusion Profiles in Windows
1. Ease of use Roller wheels make it easy to open and close screen doors with minimal effort. This is especially beneficial for older individuals or those with mobility issues. The process of adjusting sliding door wheels begins with identifying the issue at hand. Are the wheels simply misaligned, or do they need replacement due to wear and tear? For minor adjustments, loosening the screws that secure the wheels to the door track might be sufficient. Once the screws are loosened, gently lift the door and adjust the wheels so they align evenly with the track. Ensure that the wheels are not too tight against the track, as this can cause drag and make opening and closing the door strenuous. Once you have removed the old rollers, it's time to install the new ones Finally, reinstall the door back onto the track. Carefully slide it along the track, checking if the rollers move smoothly. Adjust the roller height as needed to ensure the door opens and closes evenly. Tighten all screws securely and test the door again.
Gate construction is a big one to watch out for too. Unlike a fence panel that is fixed in place and does not move, the gates need to be able to support the weight of the entire leaf as well as any leverage force pressures exerted on them. This is where a proper gate frame comes into play. Many companies will simply weld two posts to the end of a fence section and call it a gate. Functional, but not really all that strong. You will sometimes see cross-bracing on wider gates as a band-aid to poor construction as well. The correct way to make a gate is with a fully boxed and welded gate frame like our Stronghold Iron line. That makes a solid, 3-sided frame that will withstand way more pressure and weight without cracking or deforming. Here is an image showing the U-frame on one of our gates.
